I have not one but two Skywatcher EQ2 Mounts for sale--and one tripod.
How did this happen you may ask?
Well...what happened was that I bought the first EQ2 mount from a dealer (who is no longer around) with the intention that I would modify a lightweight camera tripod to fit it, and then take the whole thing with me to photograph a solar eclipse. However, I discovered that it would be an impossible task in the time available--so I left it behind. The eclipse was a dud anyway.
Then I tried to buy a Skywatcher tripod on its own, but the new dealer wouldn't play ball. So I had to buy the tripod and another mount as a package. Although they remain in excellent condition, I have not used either mount for some time and I'm selling them together as part of a clear out.
So the deal is:- two EQ2 Mounts with counterweights and different heads, two sets of hand adjusters, one battery operated tracking motor, one Skywatcher lightweight aluminium tripod with tray.
Price $150 the lot.
Buyer to pick up from southern Brisbane suburb or pay for freight.
