Rasta I did this over the weekend, cut down a GSO 2" to T2 adapter but I did need to turn the diameter down in the lathe which would make it a difficult job without a lathe. I also needed to remove the front lock ring from the finder to get focus. In hindsight I'm wishing I'd threaded the adapter to let it screw into the finder rather than push in.

Best guiding experience I've had I think and a far lighter rig than the much larger guide scope and fittings. Working on M104, Jaws and other nearby stars were clearly visible in PHD.

I've not got my head around how much difference the wider field will have on guiding accuracy but it certainly made finding a guide star far simpler and I didn't experience any of the loss of guide star issues that normally bug me.
