It did when I had an SXVR-H-16, similar or same chip, but different camera manufacturer. I used an SX CFW and 1.25" filters, and if I recall correctly, suffered a very slight amount of vignetting. They now produce 36mm ?? filters to alleviate this.
The chip is great though, I am returning to one soon all going well.
