February 11th, 7.55am.
The large spot in Southern Region 2939 is now close to the Limb. A new Region, 2944 has been named close to the South-Western Limb. It has one small spot and Faculae.
I would have thought that this newly named Region was too close to Region 2939 to be deserving of a separate name, especially since I can see a large stream of Faculae connecting the two Regions without any interruption.
Region 2940, also with Faculae is about to cross the North-Western Limb.
The chain of spots between two moderately sized spots in Region 2941 continue to shrink in size, including the one the had yesterday increased in size.
