Canon 5D and a Green Sky

Interesting One i Tell You.
Using my 5D as prime with a LP filter to-night I found that exposures longer than a minute or two, the images of the night sky would turn out green.
Without the LP filter there was no problems.
It took me a white to figure out what was happening. Being unable to see the window on top of the camera and of course it being dark I did not notice the letter 'A' in that window. Somehow the camera was set to AUTO ISO. that was what caused the green tinge on longer exposures.
I am now wondering whether my 'green' images of the Sun when using a green Continum filter was caused by the same Auto ISO setting???
I must check that out to-morrow.
