Matt, it's the capture resolution that you set in k3ccdtools (or other capture program).
640x480 is the max resolution of the ToUcam, but you can also capture at 320x240 - which has 2 advantages:
- Smaller amount of data being transferred down the USB1.1 pipe, meaning less compression even at 15fps
- Faster processing
But the major disadvantage:
- Image Scale. The end result will be half as big and if the seeing is really good, you usually want the biggest image you can get.
