The adapter shown in the OPT page requires a spacer to get the correct Lens to Camera distance. The actual EOS connection piece, as shown, is available and will fit the ST8300M
WITH the Filter Wheel, if you are using the ST8300C, that spacer is not yet available, contary to SBIG's own advertisments, there is no way of fitting the adapter as yet. There are no screws or other parts supplied with the adapter as shown on the OPT page.
Information I got back from OPT a couple of days ago was that there is still no date for the release of the spacer so I have a completely useless EOS adapter until the spacer arrives.
