For a 74 year old this “large box on stumps ” makes setting up and putting away a SW 10” goto flextube dob a much easier task. It’s constructed out of concrete form ply. The concrete slab on 3 treated pine stumps next to it is for raising the height of the telescope when in use , and is less than a metre from the corner of the door that forms a platform for manouvering the parts on custom trolleys.
