Benro make very nice ball heads that also pan and are more strudy than the manfrotto items. I have the KJ-0 model rated to 8KG, the KJ-1 and 2 are rated to 12Kg & 18KG respectively. I went with the Benro after reading reports of flex in the manfrotto items.
