I've used adaptive optics similar to the one offered by SX.. The big advantage of the SXV-AO unit is that it can be used on any camera provided you're using a SX guide camera like the Lodestar.. AO makes a really big difference when capturing images at long focal lengths where the seeing usually destroys the image.
