Yes what you describe sounds like exactly what I need but alas, even with four rods they don't line up equally.
I'm wondering if it is meant for a collapsible dob that has only one strut. Do they make such an instrument?
I just can't get it to equally hold the fabric out of the light path on my 10" SW dob.
