Getting images ready for the Internet
I have been posting a fair number of images lately. I am having a small issue in that an image that looks great on my laptop looks much less punchy when I post it on FB or here on IIS. The objects of interest are often much darker and don't jump out like I want them too. The background seems OK but its like the algorithms that are used to set them up for display kinda "flatten" them.
I have tried making the image overall brighter but that starts introducing artifacts I am not happy with.
Any thoughts?
