The scope with camera ect. is at a guess, 13-14kg. Haven't actually weighed it. My EQ6 handled it all without any problems at all.
If you want a setup that is not effected by seeing the what you want to do is forget about absolute resolution and go for wider fields. Putting a Nikon D810 on my refractor ~1.5"/pixel means that it'll perform the same on any night but the most god awful of seeing conditions. It isn't just 1.5"/pixel but it has a Bayer matrix to also lower resolution down that little bit further.
