Hard yakka with a 8" and shortish FL. Good point about the barlow. Never thought about it. I'll have to read up on mine see if ut has any kind UV/IR block coatings. That would be a bummer.
Probably why it's best to use a long FL native system with a large aperture and no glass in the light path if possible.
