Just in time for planet season…
For sale is my Meade 10” LX50 OTA with Losmandy-D dovetail
Excellent condition both inside and out – mirrors look brand new.
I deforked this scope a while back and have since used it for a variety of visual, eaa, planetary and dso photography. This scope has given me amazing views of both the major and minor planets, and I’ve included a couple of shots from last year (or you can search on the forums some of my other posts). I’ve recently acquired a c14 so as much as I’ve really enjoyed it, I really need to pass it on now to make some room.

Comes with:
• Losmandy dovetail bar
• 8x50mm finder scope with bracket
• 1.25” visual back and diagonal
• Hard Storage Case
Mount not included here but available for sale on my other ad.

It’s been stored in a dehumidified room in a tough plastic case lined with foam inserts which will be included with the sale.

Asking $1,950 – but I’m happy to consider offers.


I will certainly prefer local Sydney pickup, but as it comes with a travel case, I can drop it off at the local pack n send if you wanted to organise shipping.
