In the absence of any feedback from Terran for a number of weeks , and after a lot of attention and concern payed by IIS members to his plight , I can report ( 2nd hand) , that an experienced amateur astronomer had a few enjoyable nights road-testing his 'scope from home and found all to be completely normal.
