October 2nd, 8.10am.

New Region 2880 is putting on a good show with one large & 2 medium spots. The large spot is surrounded by umbra, which also surround a small nearby spot. The three spots is in an attractive V shape, with the large spot being the bottom of the V.

Old Region 2877 is now close to the Solar Limb and has lost its luster.

Thanks; like U, the solar minimum nearly killed my interest in solar observing. However, that's has past and now is a good time to start looking again.
