Maybe I'm in the minority here, but if AP is possibly in your future, invest in a good mount now. It probably won't pay dividends until you start jumping into AP, but a good solid mount with Go-To will at least help you for visual use in the meanwhile. You can learn the ins-and-outs and then start looking at more accurate polar alignment/tracking etc later.
