Get thee to an astronomy club viewing night…before you buy anything. It has been a while since I lived in Sydney but my memory is that at least one of the clubs has a loaner scope program.
Try to see a few scopes in the field and talk to the owners about likes and dislikes…then buy.
COVID restrictions may slow down the process but check some things out before spending you hard earned
