Very good point Hans.
I was going to pick
Marie Curie as my female nominee and in the male category Nikola Tesla and a bunch of others: Newton, Einstein, Euclid, Pythagoras, Archimedes, Leonardo da Vinci, etc... Actually looking at them all, with the exception of Leonardo they're all focused solely on scientific discovery and achievement, but scientific smarts is not the only game in town. There's arts, politics, business, music etc.....
