I am just a beginner right now but I hope to learn from the others and to help other beginners like me in the future.

I have just got some new equipment last week and I am really looking forward to test it but the weather gods were totally upset lately. We can't seem to get a clear sky night in Hobart at all.

Considering the Orion goes down pretty early in the night, I am thinking to try to get some pictures of the Carina Nebula next - what pretty target would you recommend? For now I am sticking to 430 mm focal length so it has to be pretty big Thank you,
