Rob,
I was thinking as a normal camera. I am beginning to 'pull my hair out' so to speak because the ad (which I can't find) said you can use a Canon camera via the Internet.
Since I posted the first message, I really haven't got any further with locating how to do it. I can use successfully use the Canon 'Live View' function which allows me to control the camera remotely (inc. focus) from my computer.
What I can't find is which bit of Canon software allows me to use the camera via the internet.
