Details from Yorks website:
Fully multi-coated 80mm ED (Extra-low Dispersion) refractor telescope tube with blackened lens edges.

This refractor can be attached to an equatorial mount for excellent, sharp views of the cosmos or piggy-backed as a finderscope on larger telescopes.

For terrestrial purposes, this refractor can be mounted on an alt-azimuth tripod for superb, high contrast images across land or sea.

Doublet air-spaced design with one element ED glass producing sharp colour-free high contrast images. Constructed from aluminium with collimation screws for each lens. Two metal baffles reduce internal reflections and improve contrast. Features a two speed 2" high quality crayford focuser.

Sliding dew shield protects the lens from evening dew and helps to reduce glare in bright sunlight conditions, especially when viewing over water or snow.
