I was desperate..

Because my pier and other EQ6 are in Ballarat and I am in Melbourne... I had to do something to avoid setting up and dismantling my transportable mount every now and then..
So I cut a piece of wood, machined it to fit into a pipe that served as mount for radio-telescope antenna (which is also in Ballarat now) and mounted my LXD75 on this...
It can be left outside, covered with plastic bag. Or lifted together with wooden insert an placed back in almost the same position every time.
Mount is fixed in place with one M6 screw, that splits the wooden insert and keeps it firmly in place inside the ø76 mm pipe..

Good enough for wide fields and possibly my Canon 400mm f/2.8.
