, Thanks all .
I did not get a chance to view the spot again until this morning ,, night shift and clouds conspired against me , but what ever it was it has moved out of the area .
I searched for over an hour this morning at 3am in a systematic search , but to no avail , what ever it was its now gone .
But it did look like a comet's nuculeus
I narrowed the search area to a small triangle in Corvus the crow .
About 3 degrees north/west of Beta Corvus is a small triangle consisting of HIP113711, AIP113659 and AIP113774 , this comet like nucules was about 1/3 the way from AIP113659 towards HIP113711, but it was not there this morning so what ever it was its either faded or moved from the area , bummer

.
Oh well .
But it was fun while it lasted , better luck next time .
Brian.
