Not too sure if this belongs here or not.....but I captured the moon rising over the lake
Just by chance I came across an article on infrared photography. Even though It's been around for a long time, I had never seen it done before. I loved the lurid look they had.
I ended up getting a 2nd hand 20D off ebay, and an IR pass filter of the web. This morning I removed the IR blocking filter in front of the sensor, and replaced it with the new filter. Took some test shots in the backyard and it worked
I'm looking forward to doing some more experimenting with this, so here is a false colour image from this afternoon of the rising moon!
