Predawn observing near qld.

Hi IISers,
I am going to do some observing predawn tomorrow morning. I have only been observing for about 3 months and all of that so far has been between say 6 and 10pm. So, i guess there are a whole new bunch of constellations to explore at that time of the morning. According to my planisphere I should be able to see andromeda in the NE. It looks very low to the horizon though and I dont have an unobstructed horizon. I am going to try for SMC and LMC (tarantula). Can anyone suggest any other cool targets? Maybe Planetary Nebula as I havent seen one of those as yet. I only have a 6" dob so limited aperture. I am in lismore nsw (close to the qld border) Any suggestions would be appreciated.
