It's a bit empty having my birthday without my daughter around (I have just the one child) as she got married in January. Usually she makes posters and cards and all sorts of cheery things. Missing it so much I made my own birthday banner. Uh-huh, pretty flowers and stars and all..  . Oh, and a piccy of Saturn as I slept thru the wave event  . Errrrr did I just admit all that publicly...  
Off to dinner to my mum's with the family joining for a grand curry feast. 
For my b'day, Hubby is making me a screen to block out neighbours lights when I observe. And then thru the week hubby is working on my dob base which is very stiff and hard to move in azi.

P.S. Oooops, I nearly forgot to add: what a cool day to have a b'day on as Cassini took a b'day piccy of me and also celebrating the 40th anniversary of the moon landing. Yes.. that's right, they landed on my b'day- I was born to get into astronomy.  |
