LDN673 and Ngc6914
We have had some clear skies recently in the UK although clear we only get about 2-3 hours of darkish skies, I say darkish because it doesn't really get dark this time of year, so we take what we're given.....
I've been working on getting the automation working I think I have ironed out most of the bugs and it all seems to be running pretty smoothly....This shot of Ngc6914 in Cygnus was done over two nights grabbing bits of data. A couple of moments of haze scrapped a frame or two and poor balance scrapped another after a meridian flip. All sorted now the automation is tweaked and ready to go for the season. I managed to get some sleep too! Exposure times were 5x1200s in Red 5x1060s in Blue and 4x840s in Green.
Exposure times for LDN673 were 5x600s in Red, 5x420s in Green and 5x530s in Blue, unfortunately the blue frames were taken after the mount performed a meridian flip and the mount was out of balance so the star shape in the blue frames were not perfect.
Thanks for looking
