Yep, but being the luddite that i am, i also want native kernel level access to my LPTand COM ports, and it appears you cant do that in the XP version that can be setup "inside" W7.
Its blocked "for my protection".
I will just add a second harddisk with XP on it, and boot into it when i want to do real work, and use W7 when i want to have a gooey "experience" in what the new ( well old now ) W7 64bit windoze can do for me.
Gotta admit, disassembling Meades files absolutely blisters with an I7CPU and heaps of RAM, but loss of access to my ports pi$$es me off.
Gotta luv backward compatibility.
