Hi Peter,
You only need GND, VCC, TXD and RXD.
GND -> GND
VCC -> VPP
TXD -> RXD
RXD -> TXD
The Rx and Tx are usually the one that goes wrong, so if it doesn't communicate (recognised) the first time then swap the Rxd Txd.
CTS (Clear to Send) and RTS(Ready to Send) are not used in EQMOD.
