Thankfully this seems to be a very unique occurrence. Since September last year I have bought well in excess of $10,000 worth of equipment from members here and have had only very pleasant dealings, same goes for the items I have sold.
I do, however, always have a quick look at peoples prior postings but that's just due to the 2 decades of police work, hard to kick the habit.
