Hey guys n girls,
I had my first proper go with my 8" f/4 newt. Spent most of the night fiddling with my new toys (Namely, EQMOD and the pure awesomeness that is plate solving, plus a new GSO focuser for the newt) and thought I'd give NGC6188 a go.
General setup
Mount: NEQ6
Imaging Train: GSO 8" f/4 - Baader MPCC - OAG - FW (Baader 2" NB set) - QHY9M
Guiding: Lodestar used with a TSOAG9, 2sec guiding
Image processing: Captured in Maxim 5, Editing in Photoshop CS6
1200sec Ha Sub
98% Moon near the object too!
For a single sub I was quite impressed with the amount of detail captured. I'm used imaging at 1600mm at f/8 so to get so much detail in one sub may have converted me back to my newtonian ways

The previous night I used my RC8 to get 6 hours worth of data, but my PA wasn't great and ended up with 2 subs ok-ish subs. And they showed a little less detail than this.
Need to buy a catseye now, it is obvious that the collimation isnt great!
