Funny you should say that Phil , the Zelio smart relay is exactly what I used in the last 2 projects
. Garage openers are fine too (and there control systems) , but being an industrial engineer I was comfortable and familiar with PLCs, and they are available off the self everywhere. They also interface well with off the shelf industrial drives, which was also important in the last projects.
