Hello Poita,
The ST8XE has a Kodak KAF1602E. You can see the manual http://www.sbig.com/site/assets/file...sbmanrev14.pdf
This is not quite as sensitive as the ST8XME, being about 10% less. I have done a lot of good photometry with this camera.
