Just a couple of shots from last nights adventure to test out the Hennessy Hammocks. I tried to improvise a couple of nightscapish shots without a tripod or cable release, but the 12-50 zoom really isn't fast enough and the preview on the back of the camera led me to believe they were brighter than they really were

I must say these are an excellent alternative to a tent and sleeping mat if you are looking for extreme lightweight camping
. We both ran the 4 season insulation system underneath the hammocks, and I was marvelously warm all night despite predicted frost which turned into a radiation fog. Didn't even look like having to use the hood or draft tube in the sleeping bag. They are very comfy too. I rolled on my side for a little while while trying to go to sleep, but once asleep spent the whole night in one position.
