Yes the GPD2 is not well liked in Australia,I do not know why,I have never had a target slip out of view,it tracks perfectly.Had a few people visit my observatory,and seen what Vixen can really do,and they went away and ended up buying Vixen,one chap was not happy with with his Tak gear,sold it and bought Vixen-yes its seriously under estimated in the this country.I have the SS2K motors and controller,but might look at getting the skyscan set up you mention for my other Vixen mount-where did you get those,and how much?
