I,m interested to know if you are using a field flattener at all.
Reason is I also have just bought an RC8 but have only managed a half hour or so with it due to my dads going into care I've just not had time to get it out.
What makes it worse from a astronomy point of view is I,m currently just over 300 ks from home sitting under pristine sky's in North West Vic without my gear
But dear old dad
comes first so you'll just have to show me your work for now.
I'll be using an Orion refractor field flattener with my un modded SLR and I've just picked up a 550 D Canon so looking forward to getting some light with that.
