I decided to go in a different direction with my power setup, so a battery box and bits that I bought are now surplus to requirements.
All items are
brand new. Purchase cost was about $65. You can have it for
$25. I think the postage cost would be prohibitive, but I can post it at cost if you really want it. Otherwise, pickup in Brissie.
Included:
- Repco battery box including strap to hold lid on (carry handles are at the side, so no force is placed on the lid when carrying)
- 12V, 15A (cigarette lighter) socket with spring-loaded lid, wiring and 6.5mm lugs attached - you need to cut/drill a hole to mount
- 12V, 10A double adapter/splitter
- 12V, 5A (with fuse) extension, 3 metres in length
Internal dimensions (including limitations of curved corners) are 26 x 17 x 19cm (H). A taller but thinner battery would also fit - length/width limitation of the lid shape is 25 x 12.5cm with an additional 3.5cm height. Remember to leave room for terminals/lugs, if necessary.
