Want to lose some weight?

Thought I'd share a diet that's working for me. I was motivated to try
it by a family friend who has had stunning results, losing over 20 kg.
I'm absolutely chuffed with my results so far.

In 14 days I've lost 5.3 kilos, from 94.4 kg down to 89.1 kg
My top weight was back in 2004 when I tipped the scales at 104 kg.
I'm now the lightest I've been since I gave up smoking 25 years ago.
I've lost 2 inches off my waist and an inch off my thighs. My wife tells
me I've almost stopped snoring, and I touched my toes this morning!

My target weight is 82 kg, so I'm heading for the half way mark.
Now in what they call the 'Cruise' phase where the weight drops off
a little more slowly, but I hope to be there well before the end of July.
I should add that I've been walking about 4 km every day for exercise,
but I've been doing that for the best part of two years anyway.
I'm looking forward to the day I can look down and see my belt buckle!

It's called the Dukan diet, created by Frenchman, Dr Pierre Dukan.
Read all about it at: http://www.dukandiet.com/
I managed to pick up his book on the internet for $1 plus postage
at Abe Books: http://www.abebooks.com/ where I've also picked up
some really inexpensive astronomy books.
I'm allowed to eat as much as I like of the foods approved for each
of the diets four phases. So I'm never hungry, and thankfully I haven't
had any major cravings.

Anyway, this post may be totally ignored, like a couple of my posts recently,
but if any one is looking for a way to lose some weight, I can really
recommend this diet. I lost 2 kg in the first 2 days, now that's motivation!

Downsides? I'm gunna have to wear more clothes when I'm out star gazing!

Cheers

Chris
