Funny, our resolutions look about the same too and I was using a 12" and you a 4.5" shows how crap my seeing was in Newcastle...perhaps I should shoot it again now that my conditions have improved  ...and I have an observatory now too  ..well nearly

Yes it is quite a wide field and as you say an interesting comparison. The seeing was good and the PMX was humming so tracking was superb.
Then again if you did the same with good seeing and your dark skies you would get an even better image. It certainly is NGC6188 season right now.
