Thusrday nights effort NGC 5139 and NGC 3372

It was a cold night and a late start, the scope dew heaters stopped working, the 12V power supply blew up and my backup batteries were not fully charged but the sky was so clear and dark, with less than 3hours of battery life available I imaged Eta Carinae and Omega Centauri then setup for a few hours of manual push to viewing .



Omega Centauri Globular Cluster NGC 5139
180 x 15 sec subs at iso 1600, darks and bias (45mins data)
12' LX200 (alt/az setup, no guiding)

360 x 25sec subs at iso 1600, darks and bias (150mins data)
12' LX200 (alt/az setup, no guiding)
