...pleeease say this is not the case. This is a huge infrastructure venture and will obviously have hiccups and problems along the way, just like the Apollo program, LHC and the shuttle program did and in the spirit of the OP, the SKA will surely have too... vision and determination will prevail in the end if you aim high
