Colin, I've seen the patent application for the Canon EF 14-24mm f/2.8L USM lens. I can't see myself going the Nikon route, regardless of how wonderful that lens is, simply because I can't use DPP with it. None of the corrections would make sense.
I will hold out for a bit.
