From the centre line.

Well a round trip of 950Klms over half of that serious 4x4 country to Bamboo Station. No cloud there for two years until we turned up.
Cloud and rain that night and more cloud in the morning.
Did however manage a couple of H-Alpha shots.
The amazing thing was we observed the whole annular and ring of fire without any glasses. Yep the whole show through cloud with the naked eye. The white light images here are straight out of my Cannon 450d without any filters what so ever.
I think the guys at Tennant Creak had good conditions. Maybe Peter Ward has some great data.
