Recently I read somewhere (Slashdot?) that Service Pack 1 will disable the Metro UI (or at least give users the option to disable it) and restore the traditional Windows Classic UI complete with Start button, etc.
Dunno how true that is, but it wouldn't surprise me, considering the pushback MS have copped over Metro and the resounding lack of success of Windows 8.
