I wasn't going out last night but decided it was too good to pass up, but the galaxy took an hour and half to clear the neighbours tree and then I messed up the initial framing so I felt a lot of time was wasted. I was attracted to the faint arms of this galaxy as its so delicate unlike M83 which has quite thick arms so that's why I imaged it. I don't think more detail can be extracted from the arms with what I have but your scope would gobble this up easily.

I use the same guidescope on my SCT which has a Fl of 2900mm. It works as long as there is absolutely no flexture and then it's easy. But it took six months of trial and error to get there.
