Fair enough Pat. If it responds like my 24mm F1.4 coma is not an issue after F2. It was below that.
I think you'll find that this is typical of fast lenses. They exhibit coma and false colour wide open and need to be stopped down to clean up.
So there is a slight gain compared to an F2.8 lens but not as much as it could be.
My Nikon 85mm F1.8g and 50mm F1.8g werre good from about F2.0 to F2.2 as well.
