Clubs - want a guest speaker talk on 'Nightscape Photography 101'?

This would be mainly for clubs/societies around the Sydney/Newcastle area (unless you want to pay for travel ), but if any clubs are interested in having me come and give a guest speaker talk on 'Nightscape Photography 101' please get in touch and let me know.

I gave the talk recently at Macarthur Astro Society (MAS) as well as at IISAC2013, and from all reports, it was very well received.

Here's the synopsis:

Quote:
Nightscapes is a relatively new genre of photography, combining beautiful foregrounds with a night sky scene - often in a single exposure, sometimes as a composite of varying exposures.

As we are seeing more and more people around the world capturing these amazing and inspiring nightscape photos, what's their secret?

What makes a good nightscape photo?
What makes a good nightscape photographer?

Mike will share his thoughts on these questions as well as a show-and-tell of some nightscape photos he's captured in the last 12 months.
