another interesting thing......... i borrowed my brothers canon 16 - 35mm f2.8 L glass lens and i thought i would do a comparison with the samyang
so the first pic is with the canon

samyang exactly the same both piggbacked on my c11 / g11
what i found was the canon was a pig to focus and it took me about 5 mins to do so as you just breathe on the focus ring and it changes too much
the samyang took a couple of seconds on zoom live mode which was an absolute dream
i am trying to zoom in on the edges and post them but having difficulty
at first glance the canon to me looked better as i could see crux standing out but that doesnt appear to be the full story
